Your still with me huh? Good, I hoped you would be.
You did go to the link and read about "essence" right? If not, go to it,
open a new page so you can really take the time to read the whole page. It
is key to understanding.
"Essence"
By the way, the name "Essence Of Eden" came by itself long before I looked
into anything it might mean. It wasn't even a though, but it's the name
that would keep appearing to my mind, it vibrated. IT was meant to be as
much as the real
idea and place is meant to be.
We are an "intentional community". However, that does little to show what
we really are, or even what we mean. We "intend" to do something in a
certain way.
It is our "intention" to make it a "reality". I pay close attention to
words and their meaning. It's reading between the lines where you find
messages, combined.....you feel. We create our "intended reality". We all
experience our reality, and they are all different. Usually, we simply do
little and allow whatever reality appears to become real for us, hardly
questioning it. "That's just the way it is...". NO it's not, that's the
way we've let it be.
Our community is more than just another place to live, maybe in better
ways we imagine it could be, closer to something we've thought of as being
idea for us.
It is a living, breathing, growing thing. It has a life of it's own. Like
you and I, like nature, like Mother Earth, it is "conscious". It,
we....are "Living Consciously", or at least learning to. This community
will give birth to much more than itself. It gives birth to new life, new
possibilities.
Children,
ideas, nor this community ask to be born...they simply are. And each comes
with it's own mission. Each is pure and without blemish in that moment.
Our community is a place to come and live in a new way. It will teach us
by allowing us. It will be our guide. It will sustain us, feed us, inspire
us, bring out our creativity. It will give us life, pull us back from the
street, care for us, and use it's power to see us grow.
It will offer us healing, in that we have only suffered from hiding from
ourselves, our true capabilities, our real power. It will show you what
has held you back, what has smothered you, what has drained you of your
energy. It will not judge you, or condemn. It wants to see you return to
yourself...to remember. "reMEMBER"...reCONNECT".
We teach that which we need to learn. To learn anything you must become
the teacher. When the student is ready, the teacher appears. This is
sometimes yourself, or another. It can be an animal, or place, a
situation. Each is a reminder, a tool, a guide. If you get nothing else I
say, please do get that.
Our community is such a place. There will be space to come and live. There
will be those in co-housing situations, they love the even closer aspects
it gives, like a family. They will grow and inspire each other in whole
new ways.
There will be those who will want to live in their own
units/homes/dwellings, for the seclusion, privacy. That's ok. Some have
need of that "space" to meditate, to rest, to reboot. Such areas will be
available to build, or live in
something already in place.
Others will come for the enjoyment of camping in a tent or stay in an R.
Perhaps in a cabin, or a Yurt. Some of these temporarily, others as a more
permanent thing.
As needed, there will be sections, or pods...that is, areas where some
will feel "more at home" with certain groups within the whole community.
Such as families might like more of an area great for the kids, and noise.
Still other would like
the peace and tranquility of a more secluded spot. And then others who,
kind of like the collage or summer camp kind of thing, want to be close
and together, high energy. Each makes up the whole body of the community.
Like arms and legs, they create the whole.
Of these "inhabitants", all work towards sustainability within the
community. Be it creating our own energy, or foods. Be it helping each
other build or create what is needed. We support each other in our living
and play. We inspire each
other to be who we truly are. We learn to care about each other. We learn
that we are really each other in different forms. And the fastest way to
heal, or grow, is to help others reach for their highest potentials.
The core "glue" of this community is spirituality. That is our core
essence. It is our consciousness. What we are when our bodies are long
gone from this place
"of experience".
We are LOVE, COMPASSION, EMPATHY & WELL-BEING. We came to experience JOY,
to remember, "enJOY". To "Be withIN" - IN JOY, or to say, In A State Of
Joy". -------- To Be With.......IN". Our most inner self, or heaven, or
god-space, our true selves are within us. ThereIN is JOY.
We are not religious. While religion has some elements of spirituality, or
path, too much is lost when it has been used to control. When something is
used to induce fear, it is for control.
Spirituality is not about control,
but letting go. It's about returning to your natural state of being. And
no matter what religions teach you about how you are guilty, born bad, a
sinner, or other defect abounds, you came here with purpose, for a reason,
as a piece of god, whose sum total is GOD. You came here to experience
thought....what comes to
Mind....or to say, to remember, "the mind of GOD". There is nothing
religious about it. It is LIVING Your AUTHENTIC Self. And don't confuse
the egoSelf with your realSelf.
At best, religions were a ritual and tool for certain ages [times]. Like
you use affirmations, or positive thinking...there is a ritual to it, to
aid you in how it works. Once you get that, have learned the thing it has
shown you, ritual serves no purpose. You simply are that.
Our community will be a place of retreat. People will be able to come a
relax, stroll the grounds [most of them], receive healing via various
methods such as meditation, labyrinths, [paths and trails, perhaps
horse-backing. There may be some energy work, counseling, sessions, Reiki,
etc...and it will be for us as part of the community.
There will be workshops and other related and planned events that bring
people together to learn, to grow, to see what's possible. They will
include things from meditation and yoga, to learning hands on how to build
naturally, with cob,
clay, straw, etc... They can learn sustainable living, learn healthier
mindsets and lives. They can come for adventures provided that will teach
how to let go, to create, to become more, better.
All of these things, useful to us, also serve the greater good, as well as
provide an income stream in many forms. In fact, almost everything we can
do for ourselves becomes something we will teach, and provide a resource
for our growth.
We are an eco-village, a commune, a co-housing, a sustainable environment.
We
care about nature and others....an intentional community.
Our community will have a rustic bed-n-breakfast, cabins, campgrounds. It
may have stables and horses for ourselves, and for guests. If on the
mountain, it may have summer camp types of programs learning not only
sustainability, but
rock climbing, teamwork, canoeing, rafting, swimming, becoming all one can
be, together.
Visitors will come, interns will stay so they can learn what we do,
perhaps becoming members at some point. The members numbers will grow as
people come and go...I believe most will stay, some will not yet be
ready...and may have another
path that is theirs alone.
The property is being sought for this idea to become reality. It is the
grand idea that is evident and the search is on that scale. There are
those standing just outside your view, even now, whom have the power to
see that happen, here
and now. They have, or they know of the resources available that can come
to bare once this is nailed down in written and viewable form. It's not
like this would be the first such project some of these "supporters" have
become involved
in at some level.
They say "build it and they will come". I think it's true. But there is
also, "show what you intend to build, and the resources appear to build
it".
I no longer question this idea and it's scope. That's not for me to
do. It has indicated it will be born anyway.
